Quadruped Progress

One of the basic needs for AMEE is its ability to mimic, as closely as possible, the real life motion of real quadruped animals. Why robots are currently so clumsy is one piece of information I am hoping to determine through research. The good news though is that slowly but surely, robot researchers are making progress to better mimic real animals. Below is an article about improving the motion of quadrupeds:
